A decent continental devil flick.

Andy and Ana are out for a drive when they come across a man and woman who claim to know them from old 'college days.'

They invite Andy and Ana out to their secluded country home, and the two hesitantly agree.

But once there, the innocent couple find themselves drawn into a web of depraved satanic worship, evil debauchery...and murder.

Soon, they ain't so innocent anymore.

This minor but enjoyable Spanish terror mixes a bit of The Legacy with a bit of The Exorcist, and - not wanting to disappoint - spices things up with some gratuitous nudity and frivolous sex romps.

Leads Aranda and Alberti won't win any awards as dog owners (poor Blackie), but they do play it straight throughout and lend the whole thing enough backbone to make it a watchable endeavor. The downbeat ending is oh-so-'70s...and certainly welcome.

Spanish: Escalofrío.
