Lame French-Spanish zombie effort from genre director Jess Franco.

A group of four students set out on a search to find a treasure of $6 million in gold buried in the Sahara desert by the Nazis during WWII.

But the deadly 'oasis' they find holds little bounty.

Instead, all the greedy treasure hunters really find is the original German soldiers who buried the stuff in the first place.

Turns out the Nazi baddies are now living dead zombies - and the gut-munching demons are out to protect their investment at any price!

This slow moving effort builds to no real climax, is poorly paced and shoddily performed.

Only the sand locales set it apart slightly.

Also known either as Bloodsucking Nazi Zombies or as Oasis of the Living Dead.

Spanish: La Tumba de los muertos vivientes.

French: L'abîme des morts vivants.
