Horror House on Highway 5 (1985)
85 min.
Directed by Richard Casey.
With Phil Therrien, Max Manthey, Michael Castagnolia, Susan Leslie, Randy Daitch, Irene F., Ronald Reagan.
A hideous mess of a slasher. The only thing horrifying about it is its breadth of incompetence.

A psycho in a Richard Nixon mask terrorizes a group of inept college students out on a class assignment.

More plot mechanics promise (threaten?) to flesh out the lame action. They don't.

And when it's overwhelmed by the rancid smell of unenthusiastic acting by a cast of hopeless amateurs, utterly poor pacing and ultra low budget production values...well, does it really matter?

Bad performances, bad soundtrack, bad movie.

The first stalking holds *some* semi-interest for its novelty of a killer in a Tricky Dick mask, but the brief charm quickly disintegrates.

For horror/slasher completists only. And even then, beware, this is a study in boredom.
