Mod slasher/mystery aka Horror House isn't half bad.

A group of young hepcats find themselves bored at yet another swinging '60s party and so they decide to spend the night in a nearby abandoned (and supposedly haunted) mansion.

But once there, some psychotic hacks one of their gang to bloody pieces.

Could the killer really be someone in their own posse? Or could an anonymous madman be hiding out in the dilapidated house?

The forlorn younguns decide to hide their dead friend's body and wait it out...but meanwhile the murderer stalks anew.

A handsome cast graces this generally likable British horror, buoyed by at least two surprisingly gory little slashings including beach hunk Avalon's end via a nasty knife in the abdomen.

Annette sez: 'Take that!'
