Too bad this subpar slasher doesn't live up to its potential.

A short distance runner dies during a school race and someone is out to avenge her death.

A Carpenter Halloween-inspired slasher by the numbers, but just not as good as some others (Prom Night, for example).

There's a quite funny scene featuring Wheel of Fortune letter-turner Vanna White in which she and another girl think the coach (played by Christopher George) is the killer.

The two students scream non-stop for what seems like an eternity in a scene that must have surely been played for laughs...or was it? We say "cut! Cut! Cut!"

Not the worst slasher made during the halcyon days of early '80s splatter, but nothing of real note here.
