Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things (1972)
87 min.
Directed by Benjamin (Bob) Clark.
With Alan Ormsby, Anya Ormsby, Valerie Mamches, Jane Daly, Jeffrey Gillen, Paul Cronin.
Ormsby is the showy head of an actors group, who takes them all to a cemetery on an island for fun and games. He mocks the dead and they soon rise up and get the last laugh.

Uneven in spots but a decent early effort from the man who would give us the classic Black Christmas (1974) just two years later. One can't always tell if the laughs are intentional or not, but this is an interesting little entry in the zombie subgenre.

Ormsby would go on to co-direct the 1974 Ed Gein-inspired horror film Deranged, as well as write the screenplays for genre efforts like Popcorn (1991) and Cat People (1982), among others.
