From director William Girdler comes this enjoyable all black variation on The Exorcist.

Yeah, you heard that right.

Likable, sweet-natured Abby Williams (Speed) is a devout Christian, loving wife and community leader. But when her archaeologist father-in-law Bishop Williams (Marshall) unwittingly unleases a dark and power hungry demon, Abby finds herself possessed...by the Devil himself!

Soon, the innocent young woman is a frothing-at-the-mouth, uncontrollable maniac. And it ain't gonna be pretty. Girdler's straightforward narrative serves Abby well, and the cast by and large deliver believable, competent performances. Abby's exorcism scene (in a bar!) is a delightful touch. Veteran actors Marshall (of 1972's Blacula) and Moore both lend class to the outrageous proceedings. The power of Christ compels you...SUCKA!
